03Beskydy-Carphatian artery

  • Route: Břeclav – Hodonín – Vsetín – Český Těšín
  • Length: 276 km

Route goes from Podluží to the White Carpathian Mountains along the Slovakian borders, through Luhačovické Zálesí to the Valašsko, around Beskydy Mountains to the Silesian Valley. Use cycle trails no. 43/44, 45, 46/47. It leaves the Podluží region in Rohatec village.

Břeclavská kasárna malovaná (Breclav´s painted barracks) , V Hodoníně za vojáčka mňa vzali...(I joined up in the army in Hodonin..), these two folk songs you can sing while riding, but in fact now it is only mere history: there are new appartments in both barracks these days. The trail will take you through the mostly fl at landscape upstream along the Morava river, and through South Moravian villages with their rich folk customs and traditions. The Route: Břeclav( a museum, Jewish synagogue, a swimming pool) – Kostice – Tvrdonice ( ethnographic festivals of Podluží in song and dance) – Týnec (Hradíštěk – the romantic square with wine cellars) – Moravská Nová Ves ( wine alley Výmol and Zátiší) – Mikulčice( Slavic settlement – The National cultural monument) – Lužice ( folklore, wine) – Hodonín ( The Masaryk´s museum, ZOO, spas, swimming pool, port…)

Moravian Trail

  • Route: Lednice-Valtice Cultural area – Podluží and Hodonínsko – Uherskohradišťko – Kroměřížsko – Olomoucko – Upper Pomoraví – Jeseníky mountains
  • The Length: 310 km

The cycle trail leads mainly along the Morava river from the South Moravia to the Jeseníky mountains. It crosses the Podluží region from Břeclav to Hodonín and Rohatec and it imitates the Beskydy-Carphatian artery. The Moravian Trail, together with the Succinite Trail creates the backbone of Moravian – Silesian trails and routes of a total length over a thousand kilometres. In the future these trails are supposed to be part of the pan-europian cycle trails – Euro vela no.6 ( Normandy – The Black Sea) and Euro-vela no.9 ( The Baltic Sea – The Adriatic Sea).

Greenways Prague - Vienna

  • Route: Prague – Příbram – Tábor – Jindřichův Hradec – Znojmo – Valtice – Vienna
  • Length: 470km

Praha–Wien Greenways is a network of bicycle, hiking, horse riding trails between Prague and Vienna. The long line cycle trail connecting two Europian cities is the backbone of the network. Other regional loops give tourists enriching opportunities to explore Rožmberk Heritage Greenways, Lichtenstein Heritage Greenways or Handicraft Greenways. From Podluží it is accesible through the Břeclav and Valtice, where you can decide, if you will go to Prague or Vienna…
