Cycling
Hodonínsko and Podluží are interwoven with a number of local, regional and international cycling sections. Regional Moravian wine trails are popular, especially route Podluží, Moravian wine or Mutěnická. Very attractive is also the Hodonín´s circuit heading towards the castle in Čejkovice or the part in an English alley from the Hodonín to Lanžhot. Tourism
The main marked walking path around Hodonín is the RED marked path of TG Masaryk in the length of 58.5 kilometers, which connects the birthplace of the fi rst Czechoslovak president with other places around, that are linked to his youth. Other BLUE marked paths lead you from Hodonín to the Slavic fortified settlementin Mikulčice, to the windmill in Starý Poddvorov or across the Doubrava to Vlkoš. The GREEN paths lead along the Morava river and you will get to Lanžhot via Moravská Nová Ves, while on the opposite side from Hodonín via Rohatec to Bzenec, via Dolní Bojanovice to Milotice.
In line skating / skating
Very popular destination for fans of in-line skating is a forest road near Rudník in Ratíškovice. In-line skater can smoothly drive more than 11 km in the direction from Rohatec through the tourist base Littner to Bzenec and from Vacenovice to the mentioned Rudník, on quality asphalt surface. Another popular destination is a tiny road with a minimum traffic, between the village Mikulcice and nearby Slavic fortified settlement. There you can enjoy a few kilometers of comfortable ride in the quiet countryside near the alluvial meadows of the Morava river and alluvial forest. Indoor ice stadium in Hodonín creates then ideal conditions for the skating in the winter months.
Baťa´s floating channel
This is a major waterway. Without permission you can operate a small vessel up to engine power of 20 kW, which are capable of only delivery navigation and the maximum speed of 20 km / h. This means that the vessel may, without supervision, drive a person over 18 years of age and this person will only be trained how to handle the vessel. Shipping in slip is prohibited. The channel sections are allowed at maximum speed of 5km/hod.

Some sections lead through the Morava river, others throuhg the artificially formed channel from the thirties of the last century. It is all-round navigable from Kroměříž to Hodonín, unfortunately there are located here some „obstacles". Here, in the southern part of the Baťa´s channel, there is missing a lock chamber in Sudoměřice, which prevents the water from the sheet path farther toward the floodgates in direction to Hodonín, where there is a separate navigable section. Construction of this lock chamber should begin in 2010.
Port Hodonín
Here you can rent boats,motor boats, canoes, pedal boats, rowing boats, etc. For families with children, there are prepared attractive cruises on a pleasure boat Konstancie (a fairy cruise, sightseeing cruise). For schools they even offer overnight trips into the countryside. In the port area you can take advantage of country restaurant,which is located in the log house and camping sites, where you can grill.
Port Rohatec
It provides basic facilities for canoeing and cycling, you can rent a bike here, camp or camp in tents. With the booking you can use the transfer on the Konstancie boat to Hodonín.
Swimming pools / indoor swimming pools
In the sunny summer months, new and attractive swimming pool in Hodonín offers a pleasant freshen. You will find there two swimming pools, wading pool, water features - water slides, as well as table tennis, beach volleyball. In addition, there is also an indoor swimming pool and children pool. Natural swimming pool
Natural swimming pool waits for you in Lužice. This is the Areál - Cihelna with refreshments possibility, there is a background for
camping sites, music and more. Popular places for natural swimming are also a natural water reservoir in Moravská Nová Ves, so
called Hliník in Ratíškovice, which you meet near the restaurant Rybárská Bašta. Some hardy fellows cool without shame even in the Morava river, especially in the ports of Rohatec and Hodonín or in its confluence with Dyje river.
Fishing
The fishing possibilities are also here, not only because of extensive pond system in Hodonín, that is really big. Among the popular fishing grounds belong the Morava river and its adjacent branches, then Baťa´s floating channel, water surface Hliník in Ratíškovice, pond system in Moravská Nová Ves. In addition, you can fish in Lanžhot, Tvrdonice, Týnec, but also in Moravský Žižkov and Lužice. Fishing permits are sold in the Moravian Fishing Association in Hodonín and Břeclav.
Horses
Holiday in the horse saddle is traditionally one of the popular forms of relaxation and active leisure. In Hodonínsko there are good climatic conditions for the development of riding and showjumping and therefore is not surprising that several horse stations are situated in the region:
